This trip combines two of Dublin’s most popular suburbs: Malahide with its medieval castle and the charming fishing village of Howth.
Located just to the south of Dublin, the Wicklow Mountains are a natural treasure of mountains and lakes. There’s also Glendalough, the Valley of Two Lakes, with its ancient monastic site to discover.
The Boyne Valley in Ireland’s Ancient East is known for its many Celtic sites, such as the famous Hill of Tara or the Loughcrew Cairns. Discover Ireland’s ancient roots on this trip.
The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most famous natural landmark. Located at the Heart of the Wild Atlantic Way, they offer a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. The trip also includes sights in the surrounding region.
Connemara features some of the most beautiful nature on Ireland’s west coast. Discover this region full of myths and wild flora and fauna on this trip.
Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel are two of Ireland’s most famous castles and both are impressive in their own right. This trip also includes Cork, Ireland’s second largest city.
This Northern Ireland trip includes a visit to the capital as well as St Patrick’s Trail, which consists of St Patrick’s Cathedral in Downpatrick, St Patrick’s grave and a visitor centre with a film experience.
A day trip to Belfast is among the most popular things we book for our groups. Northern Ireland’s capital is especially interesting for groups wanting to learn about Irish history and politics.
This trip to Northern Ireland is primarily focused on the Giant’s Causeway, the famous natural site. There are also visits to Dunluce Castle and a short stop in Belfast involved.
Fans of HBO’s popular show shouldn’t miss out on this trip to some of the most popular film locations groups can visit. Did you know that Northern Ireland is the country with the most GoT film locations?
NEW / UPDATES FOR 2019 SEASON
For 2019 we are introducing some new day trip packages and also have some exciting itinerary changes to improve your group’s experience - see updates below
By popular demand, we now also offer a trip to Belfast which includes a visit to its most popular attraction: the Titanic Experience. There, your group will learn all about the famous cruiser.
For 2019, the Giant’s Causeway and Game of Thrones trips will be combined into a single experience. A visit to Belfast is no longer included, as the timing was too short for the stop.
The Cliffs of Moher day trip now also includes a visit to Galway city, a true gem of Irish culture on the west coast. The “City of Tribes” will be a highlight of your visit to Ireland.
The day trip to Connemara now no longer visits Galway city to focus more on the region’s unique and wild nature. For example, this now includes a drive through the scenic Inagh Valley.
To allow more time to properly explore the stunning castles on this trip, the visit to Cork has been removed from the itinerary. Instead, Cahir Castle is now also visited, making this the perfect trip for groups interested in the medieval era.
If your group is travelling in 2018 and would like to take one of the above day trips, this can be arranged – just let us know.
Notes for Group Leaders
Rarely, due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, some parts of the trip may be left out at the driver’s discretion. This mostly applies for visits which require driving on roads which should not be taken under adverse weather conditions, i.e. in the Wicklow or Mourne Mountains.
At your Dublin accommodation.
The Coast and Castle Tour starts at Dublin Bus Head Office, 59 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1
*Also, this specific tour is public and the coach will be shared with other visitors
