15.00 hrs: Galway City

After leaving Dublin, you will head to your first stop, the Cliffs of Moher. On arrival at the Cliffs of Moher along the Wild Atlantic Way, one of the most visited natural attractions in Ireland, your group will be able to climb the steps of the cliffs, which stretch for approximately 8 km and stand 214 m above the Atlantic Ocean. For the most stunning views, we highly recommend walking towards the O'Brien's Tower, a building that also marks the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher.
After this fascinating walk, some free time will be allowed for lunch. Then, your group will go back on the coach and will be taken to an area called the Burren, where they will be able to discover the karst, limestone and flora that characterise this region. Your group can also walk down the rocks up to the edge of the cliffs to admire the ocean below more closely.
Following this, you'll head to the vibrant city of Galway, driving along a spectacular coast road that leads to it. Don’t miss the opportunity of taking stunning pictures from the coach.
On arrival in Galway City, your group will have some free time to explore the city, discover the remnants of this medieval town and see landmarks such as the Spanish Arch, Eyre Square and Galway Cathedral. They can also take a stroll through the main shopping street, browse the shops and watch the street performers, before driving back to Dublin.
If you are looking for another day trip to the West of Ireland where you can enjoy the lush Irish landscape, we highly recommend taking a day out to explore Connemara and its breathtaking coastal scenery, rugged mountains and crystal-clear lakes.
