11 hours Day Coach From Dublin: Belfast & St Patrick’s Trail
As we arrive in Belfast City your guide will begin your tour of the city in two parts. We first visit west Belfast where we will see the infamous Peace Wall. You will also visit the Republican museum (Tues - Sat) before we head to east Belfast, home of the Harland & Wolff shipyard and of course the birthplace of the famous RMS Titanic. We then take in free time in the city, where your guide can recommend some great places for lunch.
After that we head to St Patricks grave, and see a video on the life and times of Ireland’s patron saint. We continue driving south and arrive in the small village of Dundrum which holds one of Ireland's Norman castles built by John De Courcy in the 12th century. This castle is protected by strong fortified walls which circle an inner high tower, the home of De Courcy. Climb to the top of the battlements and gaze at these amazing coastal views as far as the eye can see.
To finish the tour we drive though the majestic Mourne Mountains, Northern Ireland's highest range, enjoying the breath-taking scenery and a photo stop at the Spelga Dam before returning Dublin.
