What can your group expect from Experience Gaelic Games in Cork?
You start with an introduction to the history of Gaelic games with a great audio-visual display. Then you’ll practice the skills and techniques unique to the games. Getting used to playing football with your hands can be confusing, but it’s great fun. Finally, you’ll split into teams and try your new skills against your friends in mini matches. May the best team win!

Who are the trainers?
The coaches and trainers have all grown up playing Gaelic games and have plenty of experience and enthusiasm when it comes to teaching student groups to play.
Top Tip:
The GAA club has all the equipment needed for Gaelic games, so you just need to wear comfortable clothing i.e tracksuits and trainers.

Min 20 persons for this activity. This session takes place at a local GAA Club in Cork that is situated approximately 3.7 kms from Sheilas Hostel. CGH can book a coach to bring your group there and back or you can take public transport.
