Play Gaelic Games in Galway

Are you looking to book a true Irish experience for your group staying in Galway? Then look no further than the Gaelic Games. Gaelic Football and Hurling are our most popular sports – yes, even more popular than soccer – and we’re very enthusiastic to share these great team-building activities with groups visiting Ireland.
Your group’s training session takes place at a local Galway GAA Club, where they will receive an audio-visual presentation explaining the rules and objectives of the games with a physical demonstration of the gear and techniques afterwards. Once they’re ready, the actual games can begin. Our partners are careful to give your group enough trainers, so everyone gets enough personal attention during the session. And don’t worry if your group is not super sporty – these games are about fun and teamwork first and competition second.
As the Gaelic Games traditionally take place outside, they will likely play on outside fields as well. In case the weather makes this impossible, we can arrange for indoor fields as well. Hurling sticks ( known hurleys) and other gear is provided for all players, as is free water. All they need to bring is a tracksuit and runners.
Depending on where your group is accommodated, they may not be able to walk to the GAA club venue. In this case, we can provide you with a coach to transport your group to their destination and back.
Is your group based in Clare instead of Galway? No problem – we can arrange for a Gaelic Games session in Clare also, more details here.
