This property was previously known as Sleepzone Hostel Galway and is now under new ownership.

The hostel is four hundred metres from Eyre Square and a short walk from the famous Latin Quarter, where you can grab a bite to eat, shop, or watch the street performers playing music. The city's top amenities and attractions, like Galway Cathedral or the Spanish Arch, are within easy reach.

The Dawson is the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. It is also very close to the Galway bus and rail station (Ceannt Station), making it an excellent gateway for touring the beautiful West Coast of Ireland along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way. Some must-visit spots are:

- the Burren area
- the wild Connemara
- the Aran Islands
