Play Gaelic Games in Clare

While soccer enjoys a certain popularity in Ireland, our most popular sports are without a doubt Gaelic Football and Hurling. The Gaelic Games, as our national sports are called, are rooted in our culture like no other activity and we’re always happy to share this passion with tourist groups. There are clubs in every county in Ireland and Clare is no exception – if your group is staying in the area, we will gladly organise an introductory training session for them.
To start the session, your group will receive a theoretical introduction to the sports and a physical one afterwards, which includes a demonstration of the gear, such as the hurling sticks. Once there are no questions left, the games can start. With multiple trainers on site, every group member will receive attention – no one will fall behind. Non-sporty groups need not be shy – the Gaelic Games are an inclusive sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, the only requirement is a good team spirit.
While Gaelic Football and Hurling are usually played on an outside field, in case of extremely bad weather your group’s session will be relocated to an indoor hall. All gear, as well as water, is provided on-site, all the group needs to do is wear tracksuits and runners.
From this GAA Club there is no accommodation available within walking distance, so booking a coach is recommended for a quick and easy group transfer. We can take care of all your coaching needs, so contact us if your group is interested in this service.
We also offers Gaelic Games sessions in Dublin - check them out if your group is based there instead.
