Dublin Zoo in Dublin
Just a few minutes bus ride from city centre, set in Phoenix Park, and boasting over 700 animals from around the world, Dublin Zoo is a beautiful landscape of 66 acres and is one of the most popular attractions in Ireland.
Make sure to visit the African Plains and learn how Dublin Zoo, in conjunction with zoos worldwide, is committed to conservation, education and study – an exciting and unforgettable experience!
Be sure to meet the newest member of the Zoo - a southern white rhinoceros calf was born to parents Nyala and Chaka on 12th November. The species is categorized as 'Near Threatended', partly due to demand for rhino horns, so every new birth is cause for celebration.
Dublin Zoo is also a bus stop of the Hop on / Hop off Sightseeing Tours – make sure to check it out.
