Learn All About Irish Agriculture and Enjoy the Organic Seed Gardens
Irish Seed Savers was founded to help conserve and protect the richness and wealth of Ireland’s agriculture and the legacy of our ancestors. If your group are interested in finding out about Ireland’s horticulture or just wants to enjoy the outdoors then this a lovely place to come and visit. See their 8-hectare site with beautiful organic seed gardens, orchards and woodlands. Groups can also have a guided tour of the grounds and have an option to include a snack or lunch at their lovely Honey Ball Café.
Seasonal workshops and activities are also available on a request basis. Popular examples include pond dipping, foraging/plant ID walks, pizza making in the outdoor cob oven, woodland activities and in the Autumn months they do apple juicing, apple tasting, and seed saving.
