Practice English Skills With a Local Teacher
Are you bringing student groups to Ireland to make cultural experiences? Consider adding English lessons to their itinerary then – not only will they be able to refine their language skills with native speakers, they will also learn a lot about our culture and understand some of the phrases unique to the local dialect.
Here’s how booking English language lessons with us work:
What kind of content will the lessons cover?
The main content of the classes will be general conversational English with some cultural facts about Ireland included. The classes are designed to be very hands-on and interactive to provide a fun learning experience.
Who will teach the classes?
We work with a number of reputable language schools and English language teachers in Dublin who provide lessons for closed groups. There will be one teacher for a maximum of 15 students, so if your group is larger than that, they will have to split up into different groups. All teachers have, as a minimum, a TEFL degree recognised by ACELS.
What is included?
The price for this class includes the cost of the classroom hire, the teacher’s wages, their preparation costs and certificates for every participant. The maximum number of students per teacher is 15. If your group is larger than that, additional teachers will need to be booked.
When and where do the classes take place?
Depending on the size of your group and number of hours of English Lessons required, classes can either be conducted in the morning (more suitable for smaller groups) or in the afternoon (better for larger groups). The lessons take place conveniently in Dublin city centre venues (meeting rooms or language schools depending on group size and availability).
Important note: If the English classes are taking place in a language school, completing a mandatory language proficiency test is required in advance for every student in the group. Upon confirmation of your booking – details of the online test will be provided.
How many lessons are recommended to be booked?
On a typical study tour of 4–5 days, we recommend between 9–12 hours of lessons in total to allow enough time to visit attractions as well.
Our top tip is to plan your lesson time first and build your itinerary programme around that, so your group can make sure their timetables don’t overlap.
