A provisional booking holds the accommodation quoted for you ( rooms, rates etc) temporarily for an agreed period of time. This allows you time to get flights, liaise with your group etc.  A provisional booking is normally held for two weeks and we would then contact you for an update on your group - is the group confirming / do you need more time etc. On confirmation of a booking we would send you an invoice for the booking deposit and normally allow 2 weeks for the payment of the booking deposit.

Cancellations are charged at 100% 6 weeks prior to arrival date.

Terms & Conditions | Is a deposit required on arrival? How can I pay?

Yes, the deposit which you have to pay is € 300.00 per group ( in case of a large group – i.e. 2 classes travelling together, then each class must pay the € 300.00 security deposit). At Gabriel House Budget Accommodation in Cork the security deposit is € 30.00 pppn or minimum € 500.00 per group depending on group size. Please note that the hostels require payment of the security deposit by group leader's credit card – this is to avoid too much cash being kept in the hostel premises.

Airport Transfer | How far is it from Dublin airport into the City centre ?

It is approx. 40 mins from Dublin airport to the city centre ( it can longer/shorter) depending on the time of day. We always advise groups to allow 1 hour to cover themselves.

Airport Transfer | What kind of airport transfers do you offer ?

We can offer your group both public and private airport transfers.

The Airlink 747 public bus has bus stops conveniently located within walking distance of our hostels and is ideal for small groups on a budget. It only takes about 30 minutes one way, however we suggest to allow 1 hour for the transfer in case of any road travel disruptions. Please note that the Airlink 747 has limited operating times.

We can also help you to organise your own private coach with driver to pick your group up at the airport or ferry port. The driver will meet your group at the arrivals hall at the airport or the ferry port, take them to the coach and drive them directly to their chosen city centre hostel. Private transfers operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round
