History & Animals
The 69 acre animal abode of Dublin Zoo, first opened in 1831 and is one of the oldest in the world. It is home to over 400 animals from all around the globe. The zoo’s main focal points are conservation, education and study, making it the perfect attraction for groups whose focus is learning.

 

Educational tours
Why not book your group in for a guided ‘walk and talk’ on one of the following subjects:

Educational modules

If you just want a light snack, there are several cafes and kiosks around the zoo serving sandwiches, hot coffee, pizza, ice cream and more.

From Dublin city centre:
Buses: Nos. 25, 26, 46A, 66 / 66A / 66B, 67, 69
LUAS:Red Line- Hueston Station stop, Dublin Zoo is a 15 minute walk from there.
