Address: Inchicore Road, Kilmainham, Dublin 8
The largest unoccupied jail on this island and Europe, Kilmainham Gaol gives groups a dramatic and realistic insight into what it was like to have been confined in one of these forbidding bastions of punishment and correction.
It also offers panoramic insight into the most profound, disturbing and inspirational themes of modern Irish history, including a guided tour, exhibition and audio-visual display.

It is extremely difficult to get group availability at this attraction (almost impossible). For 2017 season we are not offering group visits to Kilmainham Gaol. We advice groups who really want to visit to go to the Kilmainham Gaol website and book online as individuals. It is the only way to ensure a guaranteed visit of this extremely popular attraction.
