Enjoy this full day excursion to Belfast and St Patrick’s Trail with our coaching partner. When arriving in Belfast, the group will go on a guided tour of the city. The first visit west Belfast and its Peace Wall. Before heading to east Belfast, the group visits the Republican museum (not open on Sunday & Monday). East Belfast is home to the Harland & Wolff shipyard and of course birthplace of the famous Titanic!
Afterwards groups can spend free time in the city. The group’s guide can recommend some great places for lunch!
Leaving Belfast again, they head to St Patrick’s grave where they see a video on the life and times of Ireland’s patron saint. They continue driving south and arrive in Dundrum. The small village holds on of Ireland’s Norman castles built in the 12th century. The castle is protected by strong fortified walls which circle an inner high tower. Groups can climb to the top of the battlements and enjoy stunning coastal views.
At the end of the tour, they drive through the majestic Mourne Mountains, Northern Ireland’s highest range, gazing at breath-taking scenery and making a photo stop at the Spelga Dam before returning to Dublin.
