Celtic Tour of the Boyne Valley – with your own coach

Visit the Boyne Valley in Ireland’s Ancient East, the most important religious area in Ireland. Visit the Hill of Tara, which was once the seat of the High Kings of Ireland. Continue to Knowth and Newgrange, these ancient passage tombs date from 3100 BC, predating the Celtic.

Visit also Monasterboice, one of our earliest Christian monasteries and site of two magnificent High Crosses, Cross of Muiredach and the Tall Cross.

Please note that the Bru Na Boinne (Newgrange & Knowth) is an extremely popular attraction and needs to be booked at least 6 months in advance for groups.

Your guide can book a coach for private use but we highly recommend booking a local guide as well. A local English speaking guide will tell the group all about the area and history which will make their experience more memorable. A guide also knows the route to take and will liaise with the group leader and the driver to make the utmost of the day trip.

Our English speaking guides and coach drivers are very experienced and will ensure that your group has a fabulous day trip!
